JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Project Manager is responsible for organizing and driving projects through planning, implementation, execution and working cross-functionally to align activities and deliverables. In addition to assuring complete, timely project closure, the Project Manager supports a continuous improvement process by updating standardized processes, forms, templates and performing quality control assessments that help management understand organizational strengths, opportunities for improvement and efficient customer relationship management. Education: master degree in Computer Science, Electronic/Telecommunication Engineering. Experience: 1/2 years of proven experience in project management; 1/2 years of exposure to change, risk, resource and/or performance management. Skills and responsibilities: plan the project, understand, discuss and have the ability to refine the scope of the project in collaboration with the customer and practice leads; create change requests as needed; create a detailed work plan; determine and request the resources required to complete the project; develop and review a schedule and priorities with customer and teammates; revise the schedule as required; determine the objectives, milestones and deliverables to help facilitate revenue recognition and customer satisfaction; manage project staff and ensure that all project personnel receive an appropriate orientation to the customer and the project scope. Implement the project: establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders on the progress of the project; build team and foster teamwork; work with customers and project staff to execute the project according to the project plan; document project activities, milestone completion and timelines; provide direction and support to project team; monitor/control the project. Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards; facilitate and help troubleshoot the myriad of problems associated with implementing complex systems into customer networks. Track project deliverables using appropriate tools. Write reports on the project for management; monitor and approve all travel and/or subcontracted project expenditures; leads ad-hoc corrective action teams, facilitate escalation; manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures. Evaluate the project: ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality; evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase. Desidered skills: working knowledge of Financial Force; microsoft excel, Project, Outlook, Word, OneNote, Visio, Power Point; strong technical knowledge of contact center infrastructure (to include Genesys, Avaya, or Cisco); speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques; strong written and interpersonal communication skills;strong organization and planning skills; sssess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risk; think critically and make clear decisions. Travel requirements: 30% travel. Location: Modena.
