Scope of role: Total authority and responsibility for Company’s performance and outcome measures (financial, operational, legal/compliance, etc.)
General Duties and responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of organization’s short and long-term strategy through collaboration above and below this position;
• Provide strategic input and direction for long-range growth initiatives to include new products, market expansion, etc…;
• Develop, implement and sustain organization’s vision, mission, and culture to support achievement of organizational performance outcomes and long-term strategy;
• Assess risks to organization and ensure they are consistently monitored and minimized;
• Effectively allocate capital and resources to the organization’s immediate priorities or to projects that lead to long-term growth and development;
• Provide strategic input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization;
• Assure legal and regulatory compliance for organization to include ethical business practices and social responsibility;
• Consistently evaluate performance of organizational functions and drive continual improvement;
• Build and develop a highly effective management team;
• Provide inspired leadership company-wide. Consistently model the organization’s culture, values and behaviors;
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the industry in which the company operates;
• Report to the Board in a clear, concise and proactive manner.
Targeted Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:
• Experience in Global Processing/Packaging/Production industry desired;
• Approximately 5 years’ experience in role with similar functions and responsibilities similar to this position or Sr. Operations Management (Multinational business experience is positive);
• Demonstrated results/successes in developed, led, and managed strategy/goal deployment yielding positive and material business results. Multiple examples of successfully correcting/improving and sustaining metrics, results, leading sustainable growth for an underperforming or transitioning business, successfully leading and sustaining large scale change management projects which yielded positive and material business results;
• Advanced English and Italian comprehension (reading, writing, verbal);
• Bachelor’s degree required with Master’s in Engineering, Business or Finance desired.
